User Deletion Rights: In compliance with the Google Play Developer Account Deletion Policy, users of the mobile application have the right to request deletion of their account credentials and associated personal data without needing to reinstall the app.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
Method 1: Direct Email Request (Fastest)
Send an email from your linked contact address directly to our data privacy team:
Email:privacy@markii.io Subject:Account Deletion Request - AURA [Registration ID or Name]
Requests are verified and permanently fulfilled within 30 calendar days.
Inside the mobile app, navigate to Profile & Settings. Tap Unlink Personal Email to scrub your contact record from lookup, and tap Sign Out & Clear Stored Credentials to wipe locally stored keys from Android Keystore.
Method 3: School Administrative Office
Since is tied to your institution, your school's Registrar or IT administrator can also directly archive or decommission your account from the administration portal.
2. What Data Is Permanently Deleted
Hashed passwords, salt keys, session tokens, and cryptographic device identifiers (aura_device_token).
Linked personal email, guardian phone numbers, WhatsApp contact numbers, and residential address.
Uploaded admission documents (birth certificates, report cards, bank payment slips).
Locally cached application tokens and credentials in Android Keystore.
3. Data Retained for Statutory Legal & Regulatory Compliance
In strict accordance with regional education ministry guidelines and financial audit laws:
Academic Transcripts: Historic examination marks and graduation logs are retained in read-only format to preserve institutional accreditation and prevent academic fraud.
Financial Audit Ledgers: Tuition fee invoices and payment transaction receipts are retained for statutory accounting and anti-fraud compliance (up to 7 years).
