Welcome to ("Application", "we", "us", or "our"), an integrated Digital Education Management Platform developed by M A R K I I. is engineered to connect educational institutions, teachers, students, and guardians through a modern, secure, multi-tenant digital ecosystem.

2. Multi-Tenant Architecture & Data Segregation

operates on a secure multi-tenant model. Each participating educational institution maintains isolated data partitions:

• Institutional Control: Academic records, fee invoices, class rosters, and attendance logs remain the property and under the authority of the respective educational institution.
• Tenant Security: Strict database schemas, cryptographic isolation, and Row-Level Security (RLS) guarantee that data is never leaked or shared across unaffiliated institutions.

3. Information We Collect

A. User Profiles & Institutional Identifiers

• Unique Registration IDs: Student identifiers (e.g., BS-2026201507015) and class roll numbers.
• Teacher Codes: Faculty identifiers (e.g., TBS-10100200300).
• Personal Info: Full names, class, section, date of birth, blood group, parent/guardian phone numbers, and emergency contacts.
• Linked Emails (Optional): Personal email addresses linked for recovery and communications.

B. Academic & Attendance Records

• Daily class attendance statuses, timestamps, and leave notes.
• Exam results, subject marks, GPA scores, and official report cards.

C. Admission Applications & Documents

• Applicant details, previous school academic history, and transfer certificates.
• Uploaded documents (birth certificates, prior marksheets, student photographs).

D. Financial Records & Fee Payments

• Tuition fee ledgers, invoice status, and uploaded bank deposit receipts.
• Important: does not store raw credit card numbers or banking passwords. Digital payments are handled via authorized, PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways (e.g. SSLCOMMERZ).

4. How We Use Information

Collected data is used strictly for legitimate educational and administrative purposes:

• Authenticating students and teachers with institutional credentials.
• Enabling faculty to enter grades and mark daily attendance.
• Providing fee statements and receipts to guardians.
• Processing new student admission applications.

We do NOT sell or license personal or student information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Security & Encryption

We deploy robust safeguards to maintain the integrity of user information:

• In-Transit: TLS 1.2 / TLS 1.3 protocol encryption for all mobile-to-cloud communications.
• At-Rest: AES-256 database and object storage encryption on Supabase infrastructure.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & FERPA)

serves K-12 educational environments. Account credentials and enrollment are managed under the authorization of the partner educational institution and verified parents/guardians. We honor standards outlined by COPPA and FERPA regarding educational records and minor privacy.

7. Data Retention & Erasure Requests

Users may request deletion of their profile data by contacting school administration or writing to our privacy team at privacy@markii.io. Requests are verified and fulfilled within 30 business days in compliance with statutory educational archive regulations.
